Due to Hurricane Isabel Professor Jenkins was unable to travel to the conference. In his place Dr. Paul Freston, Byker Chair at Calvin College, delivered the keynote and panel lecture on the topic. We are grateful to Dr. Freston for his willingness to step in under the unavoidable circumstances and with such short notice. We were also grateful that Professor Jenkins and his family were uninjured in the catastrophic damage wreaked by hurricane Isabel.
